We dropped by Nyok Lan Kajang Satay (corner shop) which is a Chinese owned stall operating in Restoran Malaysia. Abbiamo abbandonato da Nyok Lan Kajang satay (angolo negozio), che è una stalla di proprietà cinese operanti in Restoran Malesia. I’ve been told that the place is usually packed with people most of the time. Sono stato detto che il posto di solito è compresso con persone la maggior parte del tempo.

The shop offer few variety of satay namely chicken, fish, mutton and beef. Il negozio offre poche varietà di satay vale a dire pollo, pesce, carne ovina e bovina. Since Huey don’t eat beef we ordered 30 chicken satay and 10 mutton satay (chicken - RM0.60 each and mutton - RM0.90 each). All of us have mix feelings towards the satay here. Tutti noi abbiamo mix di sentimenti verso la satay qui. Mr. Bf and i thought that the mutton was really good. Mr Bf e ho pensato che il montone è stato davvero buono. None of the strong mutton taste and it’s really tender to chew. Nessuno dei montone gusto forte ed è davvero gara di masticare. However, we thought the chicken satay is just so-so. Tuttavia, abbiamo pensato che il pollo satay è così-così.

For me i think i prefer if the satay is a little bit charred because it adds to the taste. Per quanto mi riguarda penso di preferire se il satay è un po 'perché carbonizzati si aggiunge al gusto. As for Mr. Bf, he doesn’t like anything without bits of fats LOL. Per quanto riguarda il signor Bf, non come qualcosa senza bit di grassi LOL. Since Kajang satay is famous for it’s lean meat, i don’t think he will ever like Kajang satay *wakaka! Poiché Kajang satay è famosa per la sua carne magra, non credo che potrà mai come Kajang satay * wakaka!

To summarize, the satay is not too bad. Per riassumere, la satay non è troppo male. Mutton satay is recommended :). Montone satay è raccomandato:). And you should be warned that cleanliness is not top priority at this place so if you’re not so keen on oily tables, this is not a place for you. E dovrebbe essere avvertito che la pulizia non è la massima priorità a questo luogo così se non sei così forte sul oleoso tabelle, questo non è un posto che fa per voi.

Been craving for Korean food for quite sometime and thanks to Pipu who recommended this particular Korean restaurant. Stato di desiderio coreano abbastanza cibo per volta e grazie a Pipu raccomandato che questo particolare ristorante coreano. Ok, actually i think she highly recommended this restaurant just because Rain (the supposedly Korean hunk) had dine there before. Ok, effettivamente penso che altamente raccomandato questo ristorante solo perché Rain (presumibilmente il coreano hunk) vi era prima di cenare.

After looking at the many posters of Rain plastered in the restaurant i half expected that the eatery will be packed with screaming school girls LOL. Dopo aver esaminato i numerosi manifesti di pioggia intonacate nel ristorante i mezzo prevede che il ristorante sarà compresso con urlando scuola ragazze LOL. But surprisingly the place was full sometime after 7.30pm, mostly with families. Ma sorprendentemente il posto era pieno dopo qualche 7.30pm, soprattutto con le famiglie.

Daorae Korean BBQ Restaurant, Kota Damansara branch is located on the third floor of the building. Daorae ristorante eritreo, Kota Damansara succursale è ubicata al terzo piano del palazzo. It’s actually above the Khalifah Bistro. In realtà è al di sopra del Khalifah Bistro. If you’re not familiar with the area and if not for the neon marque sign, most probably you’ll miss the restaurant. Se non hai familiarità con la zona e, se non per il marchio neon segno, molto probabilmente vi perdete il ristorante.

The host would most probably recommend you to try the BBQ set which you can actually bbq at your table using charcoal (Mr. Bf seemed quite interested with the extendable air vacuum thingy), but after having Kajang satay the other day we decided it was too heaty. Kimchi Jeon Gol is something like curry instant noodle but less spicy and more sour since the soup base is made of kimchi. Come al solito Coreano con il cibo, il set viene fornito con 10 piatti, tutti i amato soprattutto il kimchi e la medusa. We even received a complimentary side dish (Korean steam egg) from the host. Abbiamo anche ricevuto un omaggio lato piatto (coreano vapore uovo) da host. I was quite happy then because i’m all for free stuffs *wakaka! Sono stato molto felice, perché allora mi libero per tutti i prodotti alimentari * wakaka!

You know we had no idea that the Kimchi Jeon Gol set came with noodles. Voi sapete che non aveva idea che il Kimchi Jeon Gol serie fornito con tagliatelle. I don’t recall it was on the menu. Non ricordo si è nel menu. If we knew then we would not have ordered additional rice and another type of noodle (Kimchi Mari Goks). Se sapevamo allora non avremmo ordinato supplementari di riso e di un altro tipo di pasta (Kimchi Mari Goks).

But it turned out for the best because i loved the Kimchi Mari Goks. Ma si è scoperto per la migliore perché mi ha amato la Kimchi Mari Goks. It’s cold soba noodle with kimchi, seeweed, cucumber and sesame. Fa freddo a base di noodle soba con kimchi, seeweed, cetriolo e sesamo. I heart most dishes with sesame. I piatti più cuore con sesamo. It makes everything more aromatic, don’t you think? Si rende tutto più aromatico, non credete? And the portion is huge too. E la quota è troppo grande. It’s perfect for 2 person sharing. È perfetto per 2 persone condivisione.

Overall it’s quite satisfying. Nel complesso è abbastanza soddisfacente. Service excellent and fast. Servizio eccellente e veloce. Price is reasonable considering the extremely large portion. Il prezzo è ragionevole considerare la porzione estremamente grandi. Remember, Kimchi Jeon Gol could feed 4 person and the Kimchi Mari Goks could well feed 2 person. Ricordate, Kimchi Jeon Gol potrebbe mangimi 4 persone e il Kimchi Mari Goks potrebbe mangimi per 2 persone. Next time, will bring more people to share the food :). La prossima volta, porterà un maggior numero di persone a condividere il cibo:).

I was told that their cakes are not produced in mass therefore the standard is maintained.This is good news because anything made from mass production tends to get a little low in quality. We bought the tiramisu (a must!) and opera which is made from almond, chocolate and butter. Abbiamo comprato il tiramisù (un must!) E che l'opera è composta da mandorle, cioccolato e burro.

The tiramisu was good but not the best i ever had. Il tiramisù è stata buona, ma non il migliore che io abbia mai avuto. I still prefer the tiramisu from Equatorial which is really smooth and creamy. Ho ancora preferiscono il tiramisù da equatoriale che è molto liscio e cremoso. Here, the tiramisu cake is rather rough but still not bad. Qui, il tiramisù torta è piuttosto grezza, ma non sono ancora male.

We much prefer the opera cake (though i have no idea why it’s called ‘opera’). Siamo molto preferisce l'opera torta (anche se non ho idea del perché si chiama 'Opera'). The cake is thinly layered with separate flavor (chocolate, almond, butter) each. La torta è scarsamente strati separati con sapore (cioccolato, mandorle, burro) ciascuno. The thin layer of butter and dark chocolate makes the cake rich and sumptous. Il sottile strato di burro e cioccolato fondente rende la torta ricca e sumptous. Totally yummylicious! I’ve been here quite a few times for quick lunches. Sono stato qui tutto un paio di volte per pranzi veloci. It’s not a bad place to have lunch you know. Non è un brutto posto per pranzare sapete.

The food is good, the eatery is clean and the service is fast.  The only complaint i have about this place is that they air the same Chinese movie about the emperor and it’s cook (the one staring Bobby Au-Yong)  repeatedly 24 hours a day. Il cibo è buono, il ristorante è pulito e il servizio è veloce. L'unica denuncia che ho su questo luogo è che la stessa aria film cinesi circa l'imperatore e il cuoco (quello Staring Bobby Au-Yong) ripetutamente 24 ore al giorno. Actually each time i’ve been there the movie is on -_-”. In realtà ogni volta che sono stato lì il filmato è su -_-".

I guess it’s only appropriate since the eatery specialize in emperor noodle so even the wall paper is pictures of the emperor’s palace. Immagino che è solo del caso in quanto il ristorante specializzato in pasta imperatore così anche il muro di carta di immagini è l'imperatore del palazzo. Yes, the whole interior is in yellow too. Sì, l'interno è tutta in giallo troppo.

Emperor noodle is a type of egg noodle. L'imperatore a base di noodle è un tipo di pasta a base di uova. People mistake it for wanton noodle all the time. Persone per errore esso sfrenato a base di noodle tutto il tempo. It’s similar to wanton noodle but the texture finer and more springy. The Yong Tau Fu with Special Sauce was quite yummy. Il Tau Yong Fu con Special Sauce è stato molto yummy. The sauce/gravy was very sweet and tasty. La salsa / sugo era molto dolce e gustoso. The tau fu pok totally soaked up the sauce. Il Tau fu assolutamente POK bagnato fradicio la salsa.

The fried dumpling on the other hand was very good. Il gnocco fritto, d'altra parte è stato molto buono. I always love the dumpling here. Ho l'amore semper gnocco qui. The stuffing is generous and most important is that the dumpling is fresh. L'imbottitura è generosa e più importante è che il gnocco è fresco.
