After a day of shopping, we stopped by at San Terri Cottage, The Gardens to grab some cakes to go. San Terri Cottage serves coffee, tea and pretty cakes that are popular in Japan and Taiwan.

The Emperor Noodle or more known as the Huang Di Mien restaurant has been around for quite a few years now. The food is extremely affordable plus the food is fairly good. The branch in Bandar Menjalara, Kepong was featured in an episode of 8TV’s Ho Chak.

For Mr. Bf’s birthday we opted for something affordable and something that my sensitive stomach would agree upon. We went for a second visit to Rakuzen Japanese Restaurant. That and because it’s pretty near our place.
We enjoyed Rakuzen’s Yakinikujyu, Unagi Yanagawa and Stamina Roll on our first visit. This time we ordered something different. We [...]

Like any other Taiwanese and Hongkie eateries, Fong Lye Taiwan Restaurant in the Gardens is often packed with patrons. Getting a table might be a pain, there is always a queue at the counter.
Personally i don’t prefer Taiwanese restaurants because there is no privacy at all. All the tables are placed so close to each [...]

What i love most about Hari Raya in Malaysia is the glorious food that is associated with it. Even before Raya during Puasa (fasting), the Malays had already started selling kuihs and rendangs and all sorts of delicious food.
While the Malays are getting slimmer by fasting, my waist is getting thicker due to constant Malay [...]

This is one of my favorite ice cream. It’s cute and at the right size. Just pop it into your mouth and bliss!
Chocolate flavor
This Japanese brand ice cream comes in many flavors. I’ve tried mint, chocolate and tea. Yeah tea flavor! All 3 is yummylicious. I especially liked the mint flavor though.

After a whole day of cleaning, our body just won’t function anymore. Our stomach were on strike! It was Merdeka Day and we didn’t feel like celebrating with local food (that’s us being patriotic wakaka!). We decided it was time for some Japanese food… yet again. LOL!.

I had no idea Ampang Park is so crowded even on weekends when most offices nearby are closed for the second half of the day. Maybe because Raya is coming soon. I see that the many (many is an understatement) shops selling Malay clothes are doing well.
We happened to be there to pick up the [...]

Ok. Both Mr. Boyfriend and i had been meaning to eat at Meng Kee for quite some time now. Mr. Boyfriend was raving about their fantastic char siew (BBQ pork), possibly the best in KL. People had been reviewing about this place for years. Being the outdated me, i have not even tried the char [...]
