Nippon Yataimura is a decent and affordable place fro sushi as far as sushi restaurants in malls goes. I’m try to avoid eating at malls lately because the food is really mundane but at times especially after a tiring day shopping, i have no choice but to settle for the other alternative.

The price of Japanese food at this restaurant is comparably cheaper as to other sushi franchise like Sakae Sushi or Sushi Zanmai and the quality if rather alright too. The bento or teppanyaki sets here are a few RM less than other restaurants that serves similar quality of Japanese food.

The salmon teppanyaki was good but a little too salty for my taste. It tasted and looked suspiciously like it was fried ala Chinese style. LOL.

As for the Ramen set that Mr. Bf ordered, i didn’t really liked it since it has bamboo shoots in it which makes the soup have a slightly fishy taste. But he liked it so there you go.

The hand-roll on the other hand was really bad. The seaweed wrapper was like rubber. It’s so hard to bite as the texture was really rubbery and it difficult to even tear.

I had some pretty nice stuff here at Nippon Yataimura sometime ago so not everything is bad although not super awesome either. However, it’s a good place to dine when there’s limited choice because the price is good and the food not bad.
