Last night seemed to be a good day for dining out especially since mom was too tired too cook after our day trip to Sungai Klah. Dad brought us to one of his favorite place for fish head (no not fish head noodle).

Jinjang Fish Head Restaurant is popular for it’s Thong San fish specialty among residence in Kepong especially in Taman Bukit Sri Bintang where it is located.

After tasting the fish, i know why my dad loves this shop. Reasonable price aside (the fish only cost RM20), the special sauce fish is really delicious. The star of the dish is the sauce/gravy that is sour and spicy and heavy with the taste of parsley. I of course heart it because it’s very, very sour.

There are 5 other kind of fish gravy on the menu such as ginger, asam and teo chew steam. We will probably return to try others next time.

Other dishes was equally yummy. I always love steam egg especially with fried onions on top.

Pork Knuckle

The pork knuckle was good but not really great. Nevertheless that didn’t stop us from globbling the whole of it. The pork itself was dry but served with sour gravy (tasted like vinegar plus lemon or lime) which was good.
