As promised on my previous review on Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks, i took some photo of the famous Oyster Mee Sua (oyster noodle) and the Crispy Chicken Floss Crepe on my recent visit to the outlet.

oyster mee sua
Mee sua… gastronomical

Look yummy right?

The home-made oyster is excellent. It doesn’t have that fishy taste at all. The gravy/soup is thick and the mee is smooth. You’ll find 2 tiny oyster in the bowl too.

The mee sua is served with a spoon only because it is as how Taiwanese eat it… using only a spoon. I suspect it’s because we should consume the mee sua like how we drink soup. Slurp up as much gravy as you can. That’s the best way to eat it. However, if you want to use chopsticks feel free to ask for a pair.

I heart the crispy chicken floss crepe

I must say the Crispy Chicken Floss Crepe is my favorite dish in the menu. I heart chicken floss to the max and this dish is delicious. Omelet is spread on the crepe skin before adding the chicken floss. Then rolled. With a little bit of sweet sauce on top, it’s the perfect combination.

This snack is sweet and savory plus very crunchy. Don’t attempt to “ta pao” (take away) coz it’s best eaten warm right off the counter.

Mee Sua – RM6.00
Crispy Chicken Floss Crepe – RM5.50
