D’licious Hot Pot Restaurant is run by a husband and wife team. The man-boss is a very friendly and charming Malaysian while the woman-boss a Taiwanese, equally polite and hospitable.
D’licious
offers customers yummy authentic Taiwanese food. The dishes are simple yet delicious! There are several types of hotpot to choose from. There’s D’licious Hot Pot, Japanese Style Hot Pot, Thai Style Hot Pot, Korean Style Hot Pot and so on. Most have similar ingredients such as prawns, squids, cabbages, oyster mushrooms, enokitake mushrooms (needle mushrooms), beef balls, beancurd skins and such. However, for Korean Style HotPot Thai Style there will be kimchi, Thai Style Hot Pot will have tom yam soup… so you get the idea right?
We had the Japanese Style Hot Pot this time coz we love the dried bonito flakes. For those who always had Japanese food and wondered what are those thin brown flakes made of, it is actually skipjack tuna smoked, dried and then skinned into thin slices.
Another reason to love this place is because they serve the best jasmine tea with a sprinkle of green tea powder on top. Its common and can be found at any eatery but i still prefer it here. It really tastes better *I swear!
D’licious is most famous for it’s beef noodle but we always ordered that so we decided to try something new. We had the ‘Dung Bo Noodle’. It tasted like mee goreng actually but more aromatic. Quite good actually.

Blurry pic… I damn hungry la wei! Hand shake dy.
There are varieties of snacks or side orders on the menu too. Like Taiwanese sausages, dumplings, spring roll and etc.
The fried dumpling – ‘sui gao’ was absolutely crunchy and yummilicious. The mayonnaise was quite good too. I’m not sure if it’s home-made but it’s didn’t taste the same as normal mayo. It’s pink and had a lighter taste to it.
Japanese Style Hot Pot – RM13.90
Dung Bo Noodle – RM8.90
Fried Dumpling – RM8.90
Jasmine Tea – RM3.90
Green Tea – RM2.00
